Our client, an Australian-grown powerhouse is busy expanding their global team. This SaaS group builds software for the broader hospitality, meetings, and events space. Their cloud platform helps organizations run operations more efficiently, improve client experiences and ultimately grow revenue. As a result of continued growth, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead new business acquisition across North America. Whist this group has a presence in America already, it would be deemed as a greenfield BDM opportunity… About the role (high level view): Responsible for developing and executing go-to-market sales plans, building a robust pipeline to execute your sales pipeline effectively This role is “hands on”, from proactive prospecting, outbound sales, LinkedIn outreach, through to in-person networking at tradeshows and events. Run tailored discovery calls, product demos and solution presentations, positioning this platform to solve real customer pain points. Type of background they’re looking for: 5 years’ experience in software/SaaS sales (ideally) within the North American market. Proven track record in new business acquisition and exceeding targets. Strong ability to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close deals. Skilled in solution-selling and discovery-led conversations. Excellent presentation and demo delivery skills. CRM experience (HubSpot preferred) and data-driven approach to sales. Spanish language skills a bonus (for growth into LATAM) – Desirable, not essential! What’s in it for you?
