Position Summary: Based in Ballarat head office (preferably), the SAP S/4HANA MM Consultant will be a key member of a team, responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the SAP MRP module within our S/4HANA environment. This is a short-term contract (1-2 months) aimed at optimising our material planning processes. The successful candidate will leverage their deep expertise to configure SAP MRP, implement best practices, and deliver comprehensive training to our procurement team. Key Responsibilities: SAP Implementation & Configuration: Lead the configuration and implementation of the SAP S/4HANA MRP module . Ensure all configurations align with business requirements and industry best practices for material planning and procurement. Perform system testing and quality assurance to ensure the functionality meets project objectives. Training & Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver training sessions to the procurement team on the new MRP functionality. Instruct staff on how to use SAP for material procurement efficiently, covering topics such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipts. Provide guidance on forecasting modules and their integration with MRP to improve inventory management. Process Improvement: Analyse existing procurement and planning processes and recommend improvements using SAP functionalities. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and document new workflows. Required Skills and Experience: In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA MM module and functionality. Good experience with material procurement using SAP S/4HANA , including the creation and management of procurement documents. Comprehensive knowledge of SAP MRP configurations and forecasting modules. Proven ability to lead training sessions and transfer complex technical knowledge to non-technical users. Strong communication and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines. Duration: Contract, approximately 1-2 months.
