Overview Are you a product leader ready to use AI to transform how education works? We're looking for someone to lead our Education vertical and own the mission of helping students learn more effectively. This role is about driving systemic change, not just delivering incremental features. You will be responsible for defining an objective for our Education vertical and be empowered to achieve it. You will personally author the master "Brain Lift" that codifies our strategy and defines the portfolio roadmap that makes all our educational products work as one. You'll lead a team of sharp Product Owners, operating as a player-coach who remains deep in the most critical work. We aim to build a new system from a foundation of learning science and AI to deliver truly individualized instruction, with the goal of making education deeply personal and highly impactful. This role is distinct from a typical VP of Product position; we seek a leader who is deeply analytical, a clear first-principles thinker, and relentless in achieving the stated goal. You will work with founders to steer the entire vertical, and your success will be measured by clear, data-backed proof that your strategy measurably improves how students learn. Responsibilities Architecting the Domain Knowledge: Own and evolve the master Education Domain BrainLift, synthesizing team and market insights into a single strategy that aligns the vertical on key product decisions. Driving the Portfolio Roadmap: Translate the Domain BrainLift into an outcome-driven roadmap for the whole product portfolio, defining the sequence of work that creates value and provides the strategic why for the team's execution. Player-Coach Execution: Act as a player-coach, drive your own loops on critical outcomes, mentor your team by reviewing iterations, and ensure cohesive portfolio execution. What You Won’t Be Doing Acting as a pure people manager. Lead the vertical's strategy and set the standard for execution, not just managing headcount, budgets, and process. Executing a top-down strategy that has been handed to you. You are expected to author the cohesive, overarching strategy for the entire vertical from the ground up. Creating static, long-term roadmaps. Your portfolio roadmap is a living document; steer the portfolio with weekly learnings from your team's iterations and your own work. Overseeing a feature factory. Success is defined by achieving the vertical's strategic outcomes and enabling true cross-pollination between products, not shipping features in silos.
