Job Description This critical leadership role based in Perth will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of the business across multiple national locations. Oversee the Australian P&L including revenue, sales and operations Create a vision and roll out a business plan to take them into the next part of their operations as they navigate the post acquisition market Leading a range of operational excellence initiatives such as sales, HR, finance, culture, process and customer engagement with a view to continually improving the current operations Lead the integration of current and future acquisition activities with a focus on culture, attraction & retention of talent as well as business continuity Identify and execute revenue generating opportunities within the existing customer base as well as exploring new markets Deliver a rolling business plan with a focus on sales, customer service, safety, collaboration and culture with a view to combining business growth and exceptional customer satisfaction Lead a team across different national locations by empowering each of the individual leaders to deliver their targets aligned to the overall business plan Work closely with the wider leadership team to ensure your contribution is linked to the wider strategic direction of the organisation The Successful Applicant The role will suit a leader who is energised by working in an environment which will require ongoing transformation across commercial, operational and people based pillars. You will ideally be degree qualified in a discipline such as commerce, engineering or finance with an extensive commercial skill set. Industry Expertise: You will have exposure to industries such as manufacturing, distribution or fabrication with the ability to deliver strategic industry advancements. Leadership: leading with decisiveness and empathy, you will be someone who can elevate high performance, accountability and commerciality while leveraging the current operations. You will have a track record of overseeing a successful acquisition integration and the associated change management which is required. Stakeholder Engagement: You will display strong communication and relationship-building skills. You will be able to leverage the history of the business while creating an environment which enables the attraction and retention of talent in this new landscape for the business. You will be highly adaptable and be able to demonstrate working in changing environments. Commercial Acumen: The ability to set a clear strategic direction and inspire others to achieve it. You will apply a high level of commerciality to identify growth opportunities and new revenue streams. You will integrate complex inputs to shape forward-looking strategies aligned with board expectations and long-term business outcomes. You will have a successful track record of growing a business through a range of commercial and cultural drivers across multi sites.
