Overview NSW Health, Darlinghurst, New South Wales, Australia Role: Sterile Processing Centre Manager Department and location: SPC/Perioperative Services, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst Responsibilities Lead and manage the Sterile Processing Centre, ensuring safe, high-quality sterilisation services across campuses. Oversee staffing, rostering, recruitment, training, and performance to build a strong, engaged team. Drive compliance, quality standards, audits, and reporting in line with NSW Health requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-focused outcomes. Champion a positive safety culture while improving processes and driving service excellence. About You (Qualifications and Experience) Certificate III in Sterilisation Services and strong knowledge of AS5369:2023 standards. Hands-on experience supervising teams to ensure safe, compliant processing of reusable medical instruments and equipment. Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, support and develop staff. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet KPIs, manage reporting, and drive service improvements.
