The Position Reporting directly to an engaged Board, you will provide overall leadership to Accordwest, guiding its strategy, operations and culture, working with a vibrant team who are passionate about their work. You will be responsible for delivering on the organisation’s strategic and operational plans, while ensuring high-quality, compassionate services are provided to the community. This is a key leadership role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, requiring strong engagement with stakeholders, government partners, and the community. The position offers an opportunity to shape Accordwest’s future direction, whilst ensuring that it continues to deliver meaningful impact across the region. Your core duties will include: Strategic and operational leadership. Development of service design and provision, Delivery of clinical governance and program outcomes. Corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. Stakeholder, partner, and community engagement. Financial and business management. Workplace health, safety, and culture. Driving continuous improvement and innovation. About You Proven track record in senior executive leadership within the human services or not-for-profit sector. Strong strategic planning and business development capability, with experience driving growth. Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen, including budget management and contract oversight. Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with government, community, and sector partners. Well-developed governance and compliance knowledge, including risk management and corporate accountability. Inspirational leadership style with the ability to motivate, mentor, and empower teams. Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and positive organisational culture. High personal integrity, resilience, and strong communication and advocacy skills.
