Overview We are seeking a results-driven, Agrigenomics- Business Development Manager to drive international sales of Twist's advanced genomic technologies across key agricultural markets. This role requires a strong background in life sciences and agtech, a commercial mindset, and the ability to operate across cultures and languages. You will preferably be based in Australia or New Zealand and serve as a trusted advisor to clients in diverse geographies, helping them integrate genomic solutions to enhance productivity, sustainability, and genetic gains. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute global sales strategies across assigned regions (e.g., Korea, India, Australia & New Zealand, South East Asia). Develop a regional sales and product strategy that targets a range of high value Agricultural species. Enabling TWIST to expand on existing initiatives to increase market share in the Agrigenomics sector. Work with Direct and Indirect sales teams and provide expert support that is focused towards generating an opportunity pipeline to enable TWIST to reach/exceed revenue targets for the region. Manage a portfolio of regional clients in crop science, animal breeding, and agribusiness sectors. Promote TWIST genomic solutions, sequencing services, bioinformatics platforms for breeding and Agbio research. Deliver tailored presentations and consultations. Build relationships with distributors, partners, and local agri-tech stakeholders to expand regional presence. Attend and represent the company at global industry events, trade shows, and scientific conferences. Coordinate with internal R&D, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure client success and compliance with local regulations. Monitor international market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product innovation. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Genetics, Agronomy, Biotechnology, or related field. 5 years of experience in international sales or technical business development, preferably in agtech or life sciences. Deep understanding of regional agricultural practices and genomic applications in farming or livestock. Exceptional cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
