Introduction Protech are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our payroll team on a 6-month maximum term contract, based from our Mackay office. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll function to ensure timely completion of reports and efficient and accurate payroll transactions. The successful applicant is detailed-oriented and thrives working in fast-paced working environment. Key Details: Contract Length: 6 months maximum term Hours: 24 hours per week (flexible scheduling available, including school hours) Location: On-site in Paget, QLD Key Responsibilities: Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation Respond to employee payroll queries Assist with reporting and reconciliation tasks Skills and Experience: Proven experience in payroll processing Strong attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent communication and time management skills Familiarity with payroll systems and award interpretation What We're Looking For: Proven experience and solid knowledge in payroll processing Strong attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent communication and time management skills Familiarity with payroll systems and award interpretation Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with ownership and accountability What’s In It For You?
