Airport Development Group (ADG) is on the lookout for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Technical Services team at Darwin International Airport. About the Role
- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and minor installations
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support a range of complex airport systems
- Assist with airfield lighting and commercial operations maintenance
- Use our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log and track work
- Keep the technical workshop to high safety and housekeeping standards
- Take part in on-call rotations and rostered shifts
- Support special projects and maintenance planning activities as needed
- This is a hands-on, varied role that requires problem-solving, independence, and teamwork ideal for electricians who want more than just repetitive maintenance work.
About you
- NT Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (Required)
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics capability
- Airside Driver Licence – Category IV (or willingness to obtain)
- Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (or eligibility to obtain)
- Solid understanding of electrical plans and schematics
- Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
- Willingness to work a rotating roster with on-call duties
- Basic computer literacy (CMMS, email, reporting)
It’s a Bonus If You Have:
- Experience working in airports or aviation environments
- Familiarity with airport lighting and control systems
- EWP Licence
