Interpreting plans, measuring, and marking surfaces to lay out tiling work accurately. Preparing wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, filling cracks and holes, and removing old tiles, adhesive, and grout. Applying waterproofing systems to surfaces before tiling, where required. Spreading adhesive on prepared surfaces and placing tiles precisely in position. Cutting and shaping tiles using specialized tools to fit around corners, edges, and obstacles like pipes and fittings. Aligning and spacing tiles correctly to ensure a professional finish. Applying grout between tiles, then cleaning and removing excess grout from surfaces. create decorative mosaic patterns using coloured tiles. install flooring using materials such as terrazzo, cement, granolithic, or similar composites. Lays ceramic, clay, slate, marble and glass tiles on external and internal walls and floors to provide protective and decorative finishes. Skills and experience must have an experience of atleast 1 year working as a wall and floor tiler. Applicant must have Certificate III or higher qualification Strong attention to detail and ability to follow the procedures accurately. Excellent time management skills to meet the deadlines. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
