About your new role On behalf of Anglicare Central Queensland (AnglicareCQ), we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Manager (Service Development) to lead the organisation’s service delivery portfolios for a 3-year fixed term from commencement. This pivotal position will be responsible for driving exceptional service delivery and fostering innovation across a broad range of community services. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Manager will oversee service delivery teams, ensuring contractual and financial performance, licensing and accreditation compliance and a strong focus on continuous improvement and human resource management. The role will also play a key part in expanding services through strategic partnerships and collaborations, while strengthening AnglicareCQ’s reputation as a trusted and values-driven community services provider. About you The ideal candidate will be an accomplished leader with significant experience in the community services and housing sectors. They will demonstrate the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams, while delivering services that are safe, inclusive and culturally responsive. They will be adept at building strong stakeholder relationships, navigating government relations, and identifying opportunities for funding and growth across a geographically diverse portfolio. With a proven record in strategic planning, change management and financial performance, they will bring a contemporary understanding of compliance frameworks and sector reforms. Above all, they will demonstrate integrity, professionalism and a strong alignment with AnglicareCQ’s values and commitment to positive outcomes for the community. A fully completed Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioural sciences, social work, psychology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant managerial experience within community services and housing sectors. Proof of current eligibility to work in Australia. Current Blue Card (Working with Children). Current Yellow Card (Disability Services Positive Notice or Exemption Notice). Full COVID-19 vaccination. Current Queensland Open Driver’s licence (or equivalent recognised by Australian laws).
