Your Role As a Maintenance Fitter, you will carry out mechanical fitting work across feed milling plants, industrial sheds, conveyors, grading floor and broader farm infrastructure. This full-time role requires hands-on maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery, as well as involvement in larger project works to support farm and processing operations. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on equipment, conveyor systems, and processing machinery. Carry out fitting tasks, including hydraulic and mechanical work, to ensure operational reliability. Support the construction, installation, and upgrade of sheds, processing plants, and farming infrastructure. Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment such as lathes, mills, and welding systems. Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other departments to ensure projects are delivered to standard. Maintain accurate service records and comply with company OHS policies and biosecurity requirements. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in feed mills, heavy machinery, or industrial facilities. Experience in hydraulics, conveyors, and farm or processing infrastructure maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
