On offer is a 6 month plus role based in our clients workshop in Mackay, QLD. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring inbound and outbound logistics are efficiently met You will be rewarded with an immediate starting role, excellent hourly rate of $50.63/hr penalties and working 8-10 hour shifts Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders, delivery dockets, and invoices Accurately record receipts, deliveries, returns, and adjustments in the ERP/inventory system Identify/report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to procurement and relevant stakeholders Label, code, and allocate goods to the correct storage areas Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in line with company and customer requirements Create and manage dispatch documentation including consignment notes, manifests, and freight labels Coordinate with freight companies and couriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries Ensure goods are packed, loaded, and secured in compliance with safety, quality, and transport requirements Track outbound deliveries and communicate delays or issues to relevant stakeholders Requirements: Live locally in Mackay or have accommodation options Must have Forklift license (High Risk - LF) Proven experience in a related stores/dispatch role sound understanding of inventory management systems, CoR and load handling related procedures Prior experience with mining or manufacturing industry (desirable) The successful candidate will undergo D&A and pre-employment medical as part of the recruitment process.
