About the Role (your why) This is a dynamic leadership role within our PSG Licensing Sales team, focused on overseeing licensing sales support operations, including the coordination of our sales support function. You’ll be instrumental in driving operational excellence, supporting sales growth, and ensuring our licensing team delivers exceptional service to clients. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage day-to-day operations, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of licensing solutions. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where your contributions will directly impact business outcomes. Our offices are based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. What you’ll do At the moment, as Operations Manager – Licensing Sales Support, you will be focused on: Leading the licensing sales support function, including oversight of the sales support team Managing day-to-day operations to ensure service levels, budgets, and deadlines are met Supporting the sales process from proposal to close, ensuring administrative and technical support is aligned Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing tailored licensing solutions Developing and managing operational initiatives to deliver tactical results Engaging with vendors and suppliers to manage contracts and service levels Driving continuous improvement across licensing operations and sales support Ensuring compliance with Datacom’s health and safety policies We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs. What you’ll bring Required experience: Significant experience in a similar operations or licensing support environment Demonstrated experience in managing people and teams Strong financial management skills including budgeting and cost estimation Significant experience in Microsoft licensing or a related technical sales support role Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in CRM and administrative software applications Nice to have: Experience in a sales leadership role Marketing knowledge and understanding of Microsoft's Cloud Solution Provider program Why join us here at Datacom?
