About The Role: We are currently seeking a passionate leader and experienced manager to join us in the role of Retail Manager at Fremantle IGA, supporting our continued success and making a difference in the local community. The role will primarily focus on all aspects of the store to maximize sales turnover, profit, customer satisfaction, and staff recruitment, engagement, development, performance, and retention. As a Retail Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring that staff deliver high quality service to all customers in all areas of the business. Organizing regular staff meetings and encourage staff to contribute to discussions. Developing a proactive, positive culture in store, in line with our vision and values Creating rosters, approve timesheets and leave requests. Effectively and responsibly delegating within the supermarket Leading by example in all areas of management. Setting the standard where “every local is loved”. Establish customer input procedures. Monitoring the weekly financial reports and KPI’s. Analyzing the monthly departmentalized financial accounts and key performance indicators. Ensuring a safe workplace through proper risk management in accordance with OSH guidelines. To be successful in this role, you will bring Recent relevant supermarket retail experience. Being passionate about customer service and maintaining high standards. Having demonstrated history in performing to targets, working with budgets and maintaining supermarket best practice. Being a proven leader who is driven to provide your team a supportive, encouraging, safe and positive team based working environment. Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop strong relationships. Ability to work under pressure, and to plan personal workload effectively Being active – You’ll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require some moderate to heavy lifting.
