Locum Occupational Therapist - Public Hospital Setting (approx. 2-3 hour flight from Perth) Located in a beautiful beach resort town! We are seeking a passionate Locum Occupational Therapist to join our community team in Perth. About the Role Contract : ASAP start, 3-4 months contract Hours : Up to 38 hours per week (Mon–Fri) Pay : $55–70 per hour Super Location : Perth (approx. 2-3 hour flight from Perth) Accommodation : Provided at nominal cost, Relocation assistance provided. Work model : Working on a 13 bed mental health inpatient unit with 2 high dependency beds. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and strategies to support clients in achieving their goals. Coordinates therapeutic programme supported by their aboriginal workforce and nursing staff along with initiating NDIS applications and assessments . The inpatient population is around 75% indigenous. Work independently to manage a diverse clinical caseload across adult and aged care, with some opportunities to support children and young people. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care. Communicate effectively with families, carers, and other health professionals to achieve the best outcomes. Respond promptly to referrals and maintain accurate, professional documentation. About You Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration . Experience in disability, aged care, or community settings is highly regarded. Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills.
