Your Role as Occupational Therapist You’ll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability, community, and wellbeing settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by: Assess clients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to understand their goals Create tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that support independence and daily living Deliver hands-on support to help clients with self-care, work, and leisure activities Recommend and set up equipment or home modifications to improve safety and function Work closely with families, carers, and other health professionals to ensure seamless care Provide practical advice on things like fall prevention, energy use, and stress management Keep clear and up-to-date records of your sessions and progress Join team meetings, case discussions, and learning opportunities to keep growing You’ll be primarily based at our Sinnamon Park or Chermside centres, with opportunities to work across other sites depending on client needs. What We’re Looking For Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration Current Driver’s Licence Excellent communication – with clients, carers, and colleagues Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work Why WMQ?
