About the Role: The Senior Manager - Podiatry is accountable to the Director Allied Health for the operational and professional management of RMCLHN’s Podiatry services. As a recognised clinical expert, you will plan and lead within the Podiatry & Allied Health team, ensuring the development of highly skilled, evidence-based competencies across the podiatry workforce. Working in partnership with key stakeholders, you will ensure service delivery is underpinned by best practice evidence, facilitate human resource processes, ensure compliance with clinical supervision and credentialling requirements, and lead quality improvement initiatives. You will also facilitate access to professional training and clinical support activities across RMCLHN care settings. The Senior Manager - Podiatry plays a pivotal role in workforce development initiatives, ensuring country communities have access to high-quality care that promotes dignity, respect, choice, independence, and social connection. You will initiate research, service quality, and workforce improvement initiatives, and provide expert consultancy to RMCLHN Executive, service providers, and consumers with complex needs. You will also provide clinical supervision for Podiatry staff and other designated Allied Health and Restorative Care team members, with oversight from the Director Allied Health. Additionally, you will be responsible for the operational planning and service implementation of a delegated Allied Health portfolio, which may include Acute Care, Aged Care, Rehabilitation, NDIS, Community Care, or Child Health and Development. Your leadership will support cohesive, high-quality, and consumer-focused services across all points of care. What We’re Looking For: Must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements must be fulfilled to achieve and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). For self-regulated professions, it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuous professional development program. A higher qualification in a relevant area such as health service management, professional specialisation/clinical education will be highly regarded.
