Job Description The Project & Opportunity To support growth in the Wilton area, Sydney Water is delivering essential drinking water, recycled water, and wastewater infrastructure services as part of the Wilton New Town project. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Civil to join our delivery team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee critical works and lead a dedicated team on one of Sydney’s key water infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of transmission tower piling and concrete foundations, ensuring compliance with design, technical specifications, and engineering principles. Manage a delivery team including site supervision, engineers, and subcontractors. Oversee and coordinate specialist subcontractors as well as directly executed works. Review and provide input into tower foundation designs to ensure they meet project requirements and facilitate efficient site operations. Coordinate with broader project teams to integrate piling and foundation works into the overall program. Manage all aspects of project delivery including scheduling, procurement, quality control, and cost management. Monitor and report on project progress, including monthly forecasting and financial tracking. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and uphold high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. Required Skills and Competencies Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in successfully delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally with a focus on piling, concrete foundations, or related structural works. Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies. Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide diverse teams and manage subcontractor performance. Commercial awareness with experience in cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting. Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and driving quality and environmental best practices.
