As a Team Member within Mortgage Operations , you will contribute to a collaborative team environment and build strong relationships across Mortgage Operations and the broader Westpac Group. Your work will directly impact service outcomes for our customers. This is a critical role in supporting post-settlement operations within the Mortgages division, specifically focusing on the Day 2 process, and also First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) applications. You will be managing post-settlement mortgage documentation, resolving file discrepancies, and ensuring timely completion of Day 2 tasks. This role also involves maintaining accurate records to support audit readiness and operational transparency. Additionally, you’ll ensure compliance with state legislation and internal policies through validation of supporting documents. The team also liaises with State revenue offices, brokers, HFMs, and internal stakeholders. You will work to ensure you remain focused on the delivery of quality output, following Westpac policies and procedures when completing functional activities. What do I need? A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering sound outcomes within regulatory and risk frameworks. Experience in banking or financial services is preferred. Demonstrated ability to navigate and work efficiently across multiple systems and platforms. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet accuracy and timeliness standards.
