Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver. About the Role Reporting to the Senior Pharmacist Manager, Electronic Medication Management (EMM)., you will provide advanced clinical expertise and care relevant to the ongoing clinical safety, continuity, useability and continual service improvement, in relation to Pyxis as well as medication management systems deployed by Metro North Health. Key knowledge and experience The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following: Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice. Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position. Advanced specialist knowledge, experience and clinical skills in Electronic Medication Management. Critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical judgement in relation to Electronic Medication Management. Responsible for the professional development of self and others utilising contemporary practice in the delivery of improved standards of care.
