An exciting opportunity exists for an Oral Health Therapist to provide a great opportunity to work in a supported environment to deliver oral health therapy and dental hygiene services in an integrated model of care. Oral Health Therapists work to provide a high standard of clinical care, treating both adult and paediatric patients and working on site at schools and at hospital and community clinics. Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. Key responsibilities include: Deliver oral health therapy services including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of complex care needs of consumers in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement and problem-solving skills to more complex clinical decision making and matters. Meet clinical and operational key performance indicators and targets. * Provide evidence base care by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives. Remuneration value up to $132 567 p.a., comprising salary between $79 051 - $116 189 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $39.86 - $58.59 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed term temporary full-time and or part time position available for 12 months).
