As the Senior Conservation Officer, you will: - Support and guide operational programs to deliver invasive species management, and provide input to associated policies, guidelines and procedures,- Assist with design of monitoring programs, identify issues and develop systems, procedures and standards to support delivery of invasive species management activities on protected areas,- Contribute to the preparation of correspondence, reports, submissions and briefing papers to accurately inform adaptive management.- Establish and maintain positive relationships and consultative processes with internal and external stakeholders including members of the community, First Nations peoples, other government agencies (local, State and Commonwealth) industries and special interest groups to ensure effective invasive species management on the protected area estate,- Represent the pest services team in internal and external meetings and groups. - Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations peoples of Australia.
