Competitive salary and benefits: Attraction and retention incentive allowance: 50% of base salary Regional and rural attraction allowance: 5% of base salary Motor vehicle allowance: $21,000-$25,500 p.a. Professional development allowance: $21,500 p.a. 3.6 weeks p.a. leave About your opportunity: Provide high quality clinical care to patients of the North Queensland Persistent Pain Management Service within The Townsville Hospital and Health Service, supervision of junior medical staff including inpatient care and will include some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff, medical students and allied health staff. Requirements: Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration (if applicable) Accepted into recognised vocational college training program relevant to the speciality. If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program - employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level per fortnight (L4-L7). This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis. Probation period may apply.
