Swickers Kingaroy Bacon Factory is an export meat processing facility, based in the South Burnett Region and is ideally located just 2 - 3 hours’ drive to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast and Fraser Coast. Swickers has been in operation in Kingaroy for over 50 years and today employs approximately 900 employees. As part of the Sunpork Group, Swickers is a state-of-the-art processing facility specialising solely in the production of fresh pork and distributing it widely across Australia and internationally. Swickers processes 95% of all Queensland’s pork production, including the production of various pork value-add products for consumers worldwide. Description The opportunity There is an exciting opportunity which exists within our site services team located in Kingaroy, QLD as a storeman/forklift operator. The key duties of the role include but are not limited to: Organising all incoming and outgoing freight from the central store Picking and dispatching department and other requested orders All associated paperwork for incoming stock Unpacking and restocking shelves with incoming goods Stock taking and communicating any stock shortages General housekeeping of the store Skills And Experiences What we’re looking for: Valid Forklift ticket Positive can-do attitude Willingness to participate in teamwork Suitability to perform the tasks
