Our team at ABC Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced news reporter to produce and present digital, social, audio and video content to engage local and national audiences. Working alongside a skilled team, you will: Pitch, research, write and edit news packages for digital, social, audio and video platforms Have impeccable news judgement, experience making sound editorial decisions and the ability to work collaboratively with others Know how to identify a story with high impact. How does it affect people’s lives and livelihoods? Why does it matter? Experience in covering breaking news and next day story planning Develop content ideas to increase audience engagement Find, verify and acquire user-generated content Have demonstrated social media platform experience Share stories across platforms such the ABC news website, local radio and ABC News Channel About You You are an experienced news journalist with a passion for delivering breaking and original content.
