Description We are seeking a talented Architecture Analyst to join the Downer Digital team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure that align with our business objectives. Working closely with our Enterprise Architect, business unit architects, and other stakeholders, you will analyse business requirements, evaluate technical solutions, and contribute to the development of architecture roadmaps and standards. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills, with a passion for delivering IT solutions that drive business success. Key Responsibilities Analyse business requirements and technical specifications to assess feasibility and suitability of IT solutions, providing recommendations for optimization. Assist in developing and maintaining IT architecture standards, principles, and guidelines. Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to design IT solutions that meet functional, performance, and security requirements. Support the creation of architecture roadmaps, blueprints, and implementation plans to guide IT system evolution. Participate in architecture governance, including review boards, design reviews, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with standards. Conduct research on emerging technologies, tools, and trends, recommending adoption where appropriate. Provide technical guidance to project and development teams during solution implementation and deployment. Maintain accurate architecture documentation, including system diagrams and technical specifications. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand priorities and ensure IT solutions support business goals. Solve customer problems effectively and embrace change while encouraging others to do the same. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SAP, or Azure Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable. Minimum 3 years in IT architecture or technical analysis roles, with strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure. Deep understanding of IT architecture principles, methodologies, and frameworks (TOGAF desirable). Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex technical issues and make sound recommendations. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with Azure cloud architecture, SAP solutions, virtualization, and containerization technologies is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
