Job Description ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project. The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year. Job Description Our Central-West Orana REZ Transmission Project is currently seeking NSW Licensed Electricians to share their expertise within our Substation team. Successful candidates will be required to travel to Merotherie, NSW on a 14/7 roster, working 10-12 hour days. Travel, accommodation and meals will be provided. Key Responsibilities Site establishment work (early work) Test and tag of electrical systems (including but not limited to substations) Gland terminations Civil electrical work including inground cable, conduits and earthing grids High-voltage electrical systems and equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and control panels Commissioning Required Skills and Competencies Minimum Skills and Qualifications NSW Electrical License Experience working on substations and large scale infrastructure Experience living away from home/FIFO/roster work EWP under and over 11m HV switching ticket advantageous CPR/LVR & First aid Construction white card Full C class driver’s license at minimum, HR License advantageous Own vehicle Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and police check We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
