This position primarily operates on a Monday-to-Friday schedule with some Saturdays, using a field service truck, offering a stable workweek and excellent work-life balance. On occasion, there may be Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) opportunities, with flights to and from site at the beginning and end of each week. What You’ll Be Doing: Swapping out big stuff like engines, trannies, and diffs Maintaining hydraulic systems and keeping all the pistons, rams, and pumps happy Taking equipment apart and putting it back together—with style Fixing all the mechanical and electrical gremlins Working on the usual heavy hitters—CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Sandvik, and more Keeping the gear running and making sure production never skips a beat What We Need From You: 4 years fixing up mining gear (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr you know the gang) Experience with rebuilds, overhauls, and serious wrench-turning Solid hydraulics experience—pumps, rams, hoses, valves, the whole kit Welding skills that won’t burn the shop down (please) You speak fluent CAT SIS & ET Your driver’s license is as clean as your tool kit You’re good to go with a drug screen and background check Solid communication, strong work ethic, and a no-nonsense attitude Perks of the Job: $40-55/hr, based on experience Drive a fully kitted-out field service truck with all the tools and tech you need Referral bonus for each buddy you bring onboard Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match Paid travel, housing, and meals for FIFO projects Career progression into lead roles or specialized projects – you've got a future here Management that knows what it’s like—because we’ve done it too www.madergroup.com Apply today.
