The Role: As a Maintenance Electrician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and automation processes across the site. You'll play a critical role in reducing downtime, optimising equipment performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a highly automated environment. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Conduct routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant machinery. Diagnose faults in motors, switchgear, sensors, and power distribution. Ensure compliance with Australian electrical safety standards and internal protocols. Automation & Control Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMIs, and SCADA systems. Support control system upgrades, calibrations, and commissioning activities. Collaborate with the engineering team to drive efficiency and reliability improvements. Documentation & Safety Keep accurate records of maintenance work and system changes. Assist with electrical schematics, drawings, and compliance documentation. Promote and adhere to WHS practices and participate in risk assessments.
