Location : 28 Cessnock Road, Neath NSW 2326, Australia Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality dishes across à la carte, banquet, and function menus. Assist in developing menus that reflect seasonal produce and customer preferences. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to deliver smooth service. Support and guide junior team members, including apprentices. Maintain food quality, freshness, and safe storage practices. Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and minimising kitchen waste. Prepare and serve a range of dishes including seafood, pasta, lamb, and prime steaks. Contribute to new dish ideas and seasonal menu updates. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards. Operate and care for kitchen equipment correctly. Provide input on customer feedback and adapt offerings when required. Promote a positive and professional kitchen culture. What We’re Looking For Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen. Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification). Strong background in Italian, Mediterranean, or Modern Australian cuisine. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail, creativity, and a true passion for food. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
