An Electrical BIM Drafter is needed for a Multidisciplinary Company based North of Melbourne. Salary negiotable/ depends on experience Hybrid working Health, defence, commercial, resources, and transport Electrical BIM Drafting experience Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain 3D BIM models and detailed 2D drawings for electrical systems—lighting, power, distribution, control boards, emergency systems, and more—using Revit or similar software. Translate engineering concepts, sketches, and specifications into accurate design deliverables. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to coordinate models and resolve system clashes or inconsistencies. Ensure all drawings and models comply with industry standards, electrical regulations, and Fredon’s design protocols. Update documentation to reflect design revisions and version control. Contribute to improving in-house BIM workflows and ensuring efficient model data integration across project stages. Qualifications and Skills Diploma, associate degree, or higher in Electrical Drafting, Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Proficient with BIM/CAD tools, especially Revit and AutoCAD ; experience with electrical BIM features such as circuiting, panel scheduling, annotations, connectors, and shared parameters is strongly preferred GLHN. Strong grounding in electrical systems, wiring layouts, panel schedules, power distribution, and building services drafting. Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy. Effective communication skills and collaborative approach. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-driven environment.
