Position Summary: Alzheimer's WA is seeking an experienced People & Capability Generalist to support the operational P&C and employee relations in the organisation. This role is responsible for providing consistent P&C administrative support across the employee lifecycle, while also assisting with employee relations matters such as workplace advice, grievance and complaint management, and compliance with workplace legislation. Through continuous improvement and proactive strategies, you will contribute to to a positive, respectful, and legally compliant workplace culture, supporting both our employees and management teams. Responsibilities: Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Prepare and manage employment contracts, variation letters, onboarding documents, and offboarding processes. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and personnel files with confidentiality. Assist in the preparation and review of P&C policies, procedures, and templates. Manage compliance requirements and reporting such as police checks, vaccination records, training records, and working rights verification. Provide general administrative support to the P&C team and assist with P&C-related projects, initiatives, and communications. Ensure employees complete required training and certifications. Assist with payroll-related administration as required. Provide first-level advice to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including awards, enterprise agreements, Fair Work obligations, and internal P&C policies. Support the coordination and management of performance management processes, grievances, and disciplinary procedures. Assist with workplace investigations by gathering documentation, attending meetings, and preparing reports. Support the interpretation and application of the Aged Care Award, Fair Work Act, and other relevant employment legislation. Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Administration, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a People and Capability Officer or HR Administrator role. Exposure to employee relations work, including supporting investigations and performance processes with solid understanding of employment law, particularly the Fair Work Act and Aged Care Award (or willingness to develop this knowledge). Experience in aged care, health, or community services highly regarded. High-level administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism with excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms. Capable of managing multiple priorities with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Join Us?
