Our Client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will support the growing Data & AI Practice in its vertical and horizontal offerings in the delivery of quality data outcomes. Leveraging your strong data engineering skills. The Senior Data Engineer will contribute on the client deliverables as part of the client's enhanced Data Ops Managed Service offering and within outcome-based delivery engagements involving the implementation of many of the industries modern data platform and solution technologies You will be responsible in: Running/Operation of DataOps Managed Services Own day-to-day run/operate for client data environments across data ingestion, processing, consumption and within relevant visualisation platforms Incident & problem resolution: monitor pipelines, triage and verify incidents, diagnose and resolve issues as required, and maintain response times in line with committed SLAs/SLOs. Enhancement & backlog delivery Draw from enhancement backlog and develop, test and deploy in line with defined requirements across tasks inclusive of: Land additional data within existing ingestion frameworks Data engineering across new or existing data pipelines across multiple environments (Dev, Testing/UAT, Production) Unit test development and maintenance Data analysis and development associated with dashboard and report development Data pipeline scheduling and orchestration management User security and privilege management Data platform administration tasks and maintenance Professional Services delivery Provide delivery expertise in the implementation and related data engineering effort in the establish greenfield modern data platforms, including related data engineering Work with Nexifi partners on specialist solution development and deployment (stand-alone or integrated within a broader platform). Stakeholder engagement Consult, advise and collaborate with Business SMEs, program leads, and cloud/data engineer You will come to us with: Experience working in cloud-native environments, especially AWS Ideally hold one or more of: Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate Snowflake SnowPro Core Proficient in Python, SQL and PySpark/Spark SQL for ETL/ELT and optimisation Working experience in a leading Business Intelligence tool such as Power BI or Tableau Understanding of key data modelling principles Understanding of standard data security practices Exposure to source data systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Workday, Google Analytics and legacy data warehousing technology will be highly regarded Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
