Overview We’re scaling fast — and need a COO who can keep up. A high-growth SaaS company in the mobility and sustainability space is looking for a strategic, execution-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to build and scale its operational backbone during rapid ARR growth and global expansion. As a key member of the executive team, you’ll align performance with strategy, create scalable systems, and free the CEO and CTO to focus on growth and innovation. Base pay range A$280,000.00/yr - A$350,000.00/yr This range is provided by Think & Grow. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. In this role, you will Build and scale operations to support rapid ARR growth and international expansion Lead finance operations with the VP Finance for accurate, timely reporting and compliance Oversee delivery — PMO, customer success, and service operations — for consistent client outcomes Optimise processes across departments, embedding AI and automation to improve efficiency Implement risk and compliance frameworks Establish company-wide operating rhythms, reporting, and dashboards Drive people operations — onboarding, performance management, HR system integration Manage back-office infrastructure and integrate finance, HR, and project management tools Partner with the CEO on capital strategy, partnerships, and culture; partner with the CTO on product innovation Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence in sustainable fleet management and smart mobility What you bring 7 years in operations or delivery leadership roles in SaaS, consulting, or climate/energy-tech scaleups Proven experience mapping and scaling delivery processes across functions (CS, support, PMO), ideally with embedded technology tooling Track record implementing or aligning with risk frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 Experience scaling systems and processes Strong working knowledge of SaaS metrics, budgeting, compliance, and people systems Bonus: international experience across AU, UK, or North America Join us to build the systems and teams that will power the next chapter of a purpose-driven company shaping the future of mobility.
