You will engage in meaningful social interactions as you weed, plant seedlings, water and brings residents together who would like to be involved. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community. Requirements 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check • We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week, currently the club is running Tuesday afternoon from 3:30pm (for 1 to 2 hours depending on your availability). Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
