Key Activities: Strategic HR Partnership As a member of the country leadership team, he/she develops a deep understanding of the business context and strategic priorities to be an active & proactive key partner for business and organization decisions. This means also contracting on aligned Talent priorities and agenda to drive business and add value to patients Is accountable for overseeing all talent related matters in the country she/he is overlooking Contributes to the formulation of the Talent Strategy and the implementation of the Talent agenda for the country, liaising with the Global Talent Partners with populations in the said country, as well as with the Talent Reward & Operations team. Provides people management and guidance of Global Talent Partners and TRO team members based in the country. Advise and coach leaders through the HR Operations processes such as performance management, compensation review, development review and assist in regular country team meetings Communicates, in collaboration with global Talent Partners and local management, on individual and organizational changes HR Operations & Project Delivery Lead core HR processes (such as performance management, compensation review, development review, Workforce Planning, Succession planning,…) and support change management initiatives. Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve employee experience Oversees the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives in the country, including the ownership of the Equity Pay programs Works closely with Talent COE’s to support the local follow-up and roll-out of processes, Systems and Knowledge Overlooks all employee relations within her/his scope: at their respective level of interactions, all HR support from hire to retire (including eg. onboarding, career guidance, performance management issue, restructuring, termination, etc.), knowing the market and following cross-unit people moves. Ensures a solid understanding of the local legislative environment(s) is in place to be able to effectively manage employee lifecycle and employee relations matters, and to be able to advise business partners on the risks and implications of individual and team strategies and actions The Australian workplace and OH&S environment is highly regulated and requires comprehensive and ongoing local policy maintenance, consultation of staff and training of staff. The Talent Country Lead oversees this activity ensuring risks are managed and the affiliate is aligned and knowledgeable of expectations. Manages master data related to headcount (Bharti) and coordinate the planning exercises (WFP, SAP4HR) with the support of Financial Partner Employee Relations & Compliance Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations. Represent the company in interactions with fairwork commission. Proactively manage Employee Relations risks and implement preventative measures Talent Development & Engagement Oversees the learning actions to drive the education of managers for all Talent Related processes and initiatives. Partner with Learning & Development team to deliver local training and capability-building programs. Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement and drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement. Cross-collaboration & Influence Works closely with global HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure consistent policy implementation. L eads staffing of key local positions together with our internal or external talent acquisition partner ensuring overall fairness and consistency of new hires levels and packages in the country Share best practices across regions and contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives Interested? For this position you’ll need the following experience and skills: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field. Min 7 years as HR professionals across HR capabilities/roles. An experience in pharma or life sciences industry is a plus Strong knowledge of local labor laws and pharmaceutical (or similar industry) compliance standards. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. SAP4HR ). HR Certifications such as AHRI (Australian HR Institute) or ICF (International Coaching Federation) are a plus. Strategic mindset with operational agility. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High integrity and confidentiality. Ability to work in a matrixed, global organization.
