We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinician to support our dynamic team in delivering high-quality treatment, care, and support for infants, children, and their families aged 0–11 years. About Us South West Healthcare's ICYMHS provides specialist mental health services for young people aged 0–25 and their families. Our care is evidence-based and developmentally appropriate, delivered across three streams: Infant, Child and Family (0–11 years) Youth Streams (12–25 years) The Infant, Child and Family Service offer's outreach, assessment, treatment, and support in close collaboration with community services, primary health providers, and the broader mental health sector. About the Role In this leadership position, you will work closely with the Director, Team Leader, and Psychiatrist to coordinate and support a team of clinicians. Your key responsibilities will include: Coordinating daily clinical practices and treatment planning Allocating cases and providing oversight of clinical interventions Conducting evidence-based assessments and delivering direct services to individuals and groups Providing primary and secondary consultations to GPs, Paediatricians, and other key stakeholders Position overview Employment Type: Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO, On-going position Location: Warrnambool Campus Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Psychologist Grade 3 Salary Range: $101.597.60 - $121,113.20 pro rata, plus superannuation (depending on discipline and experience) What you bring Strong clinical experience in mental health services, including risk assessment and treatment delivery. Proven leadership skills in coordinating and supervising a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work autonomously, with initiative and flexibility. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. A solid understanding of relevant mental health legislation and community-based care. Essential Qualifications Registered Psychiatric Nurse: AHPRA registration and 5 years in mental health, with a Postgraduate Diploma or Master's in Mental Health Nursing. Occupational Therapist: Degree in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration, and 7 years in mental health services. Social Worker: Degree in Social Work, AASW membership eligibility, and 7 years in mental health services. Psychologist: AHPRA registration and 5 years in mental health services.
