Position Description The Senior Site Acquisition Manager supports the Site Selection Director, accelerating Vantage DC’s market growth through expert property acquisition and risk-managed capital deployment. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep market insight, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of navigating complex regulatory environments to secure commercially viable outcomes. Responsibilities Support the Site Selection Director (SSD) with the execution of long-term business objectives within the property portfolio Conduct feasibility analysis, due diligence, TIA assessment, and financial modelling to assess commercial viability of potential acquisitions Assist SSD in negotiating freehold purchases, lease-to-purchase, and development agreements with property owners, developers, and government agencies Prepare G1 & G2 documentation; collaborate with legal, finance, customer insight & NSD teams to secure internal project approval Monitor and report market trends, zoning changes, and infrastructure developments impacting property strategy Manage acquisition budgets, timelines and reporting to meet KPIs Prepare and report on new site opportunities, completing assessments prior to nominating sites for consideration by the site selection committee Lead weekly meetings regarding new site opportunities Support development of short-, mid-, and long-term strategic plans for property-level execution Engage with internal planning, finance, legal, construction and delivery teams to align acquisition activities with business objectives Develop and sustain external relationships with councils, landowners, regulators, and consultants; navigate complex negotiations with balanced commercial and stakeholder priorities Key Skills Apply business and commercial fundamentals to inform planning and decision making Act as a trusted advisor, communicating a shared vision to engage stakeholders Exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders Build teams and organizational capability to deliver results within budget, time and quality targets for asset, facilities, property and project management Strong communication and interpersonal skills across levels Technical knowledge of building services, facilities and property management in the Data Centre and telecommunications industry Drive accountability to meet customer needs and deliver objectives Understand and manage financial position to guide investment and financing decisions Familiarity with agile methodologies and adaptability to change Challenge the status quo and explore alternative possibilities Qualifications Minimum 7 years’ experience in property acquisition and negotiation Extensive experience managing a significant property portfolio or asset management environment Ability to manage relationships with conflicting viewpoints and engage with all levels of an organization Budget management capability for a portfolio or function exceeding $50M per annum Company Information We operate with No Ego and No Arrogance.
