Overview Balance Recruitment and Balance Consulting are seeking a Mobile SDK Developer for a Senior Software Engineer role to join the Mobile SDK & Frameworks team in Chatswood, NSW. The position focuses on deep systems-level programming and performance optimization on mobile platforms, not UI or app development. Our client is a leader in data analytics and risk management. The role will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated mobile SDKs embedded in customer applications across iOS and Android. Your work will support fraud detection and behavioral analytics by collecting and transmitting device and behavioral data seamlessly behind the scenes. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain mobile SDKs embedded in customer applications across iOS and Android. Optimize SDK performance and conduct deep technical research into platform behaviors. Collaborate across global teams, participate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processes. Create sample/test applications to validate functionality. Qualifications Over 10 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years focused on Objective-C and Java. Proven success debugging and building mobile SDKs. Strong expertise in Objective-C, Java, and C/C++ programming languages, memory management, concurrency, and performance tuning , and declarative UI technologies such as SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose . Requirements & Skills Excellent communication and teamwork in an Agile, CI/CD-driven environment. Location & Terms Location: Chatswood, NSW. Employment type: Contract. Pay Base pay range: A$100.00/hr - A$112.50/hr .
