The Role Joining our client’s Construction and Services department, this role is responsible for delivering a wide variety of construction and maintenance tasks across accommodation, agricultural, industrial, and commercial buildings. You’ll contribute to renovations, new structures, and facilities upkeep across the farm and business units. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Carpenter’s key responsibilities include: Execute builds, renovations, and refurbishments across housing, offices, sheds, and other farming infrastructure Undertake restumping, roofing, cold room panel work, and interior refits Manufacture various components of new builds as required Supervise apprentices and contribute to safety/toolbox meetings Perform welding, fencing, basic plumbing, and furniture assembly as needed For a detailed list of duties, a Position Description can be provided upon request Skills & Experience A trade qualification in Carpentry or strong industry experience A current Open Driver’s Licence and Construction Card Familiarity with steel and timber construction methods Willingness to engage in broader tasks (e.g. welding, fencing) Forklift, EWP, Telehandler, Working at Heights tickets (not essential) Full Australian working rights The Benefits: This is a secure, long-term role in a close-knit construction team, working on a diverse range of infrastructure projects.
