What You’ll Do: Empower Older Adults: Collaborate with clients in the Social Activity Group to help them achieve their goals, live independently, and make decisions that enhance their lives. Shape the Experience: Actively encourage and support clients to participate in planning and feedback sessions, ensuring that activities reflect their preferences and needs. Engage and Inspire: Lead exciting outings and creative activities, whether it’s a fun-filled group adventure or a relaxing day at our centre, all designed to enrich their minds and strengthen connections. Drive with Purpose: Take the wheel of a 12-seater bus, helping clients get to their activities safely and assisting them on and off the vehicle with care. Experience working with older adults. A proven ability to communicate effectively. The ability to follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans. A desire to use your skills and experience creating fun and interesting activities that support older adults to engage more consistently with their community and peers. A positive and energetic approach to engaging with your team and clients. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to drive a 12 seater bus.
