SAP Test Manager / Lead Employment Type: Contract / Permanent Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra | Hybrid Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Manager to lead testing deliverables across internal projects and a major SAP S/4HANA transformation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAP Test Management and be skilled in delivering complex projects while working closely with cross-functional teams This is a high-impact role requiring active Baseline Security Clearance. Your Role and Responsibilities Develop test strategies, test plans, and test schedules aligned with modern SAP testing methodologies and processes. Responsible for leading end-to-end testing efforts for Development, SIT, UAT, PVT, Hypercare and Non-Functional testing phases, including planning, execution, defect management, reporting, and continuous improvements. Collaborate closely with clients and other colleagues to align SAP testing objectives and strategies. Facilitate effective communication across teams to ensure alignment towards shared goals. Defect management and reporting, including Running daily Test Defect Meetings during Testing phases Ensure solutions meet performance, architectural, and functional requirements. Drive testing strategy, planning, execution, and reporting aligned with SAP best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for candidates with a combination of the following: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Test Management with more than 7 years of SAP S/4HANA Test Management experience (is a must) with in-depth understanding of SAP implementation and testing methodologies. Strong leadership and coordination skills with a proven track record of success in Test Manager roles within SAP projects, consistently delivering on time and ensuring quality. Communication and collaboration skills, accustomed to working closely with both clients and SI teams to establish and maintain robust professional relationships. Proven track record in managing large-scale SAP projects with a customer-centric approach. Experience in testing across SAP Activate/Agile/Scrum and Waterfall projects, being able to adapt to various project frameworks and deliver optimal results. Hands-on experience with a broad range of Test Management, such as OpenText (MicroFocus) ALM/QC, Tricentis qTest, Jira or Azure DevOps Communication and collaboration skills, accustomed to working closely with both clients and global teams to establish and maintain robust professional relationships.
