We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality & Function Manager to lead our bar, catering, and events operations. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on team management, event management, cost management, and business development. You’ll be the driving force behind creating memorable experiences for our members and guests, while also contributing to the club’s strategic growth. Responsibilities As the Hospitality & Function Manager, you will be the second-in-charge to the General Manager, overseeing all aspects of bar, catering, and event operations. Key Responsibilities include: Hospitality Operations - oversee all aspects of bar and catering operations including venue presentation and workplace health and safety Event Management - lead the planning and execution of weddings, corporate golf days, and functions from start to finish Leadership - recruit, train, and manage hospitality staff, ensuring high guest experience and service standards Financial Oversight – labour and inventory management through efficient rostering, ordering and waste minimization practices in line with budget targets and P&L requirements Business Development - generate new bookings and act as the first point of contact for prospective clients Strategic Planning - collaborate with the General Manager on business plans and marketing strategies Your Profile Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality management Food and beverage and event sales and management experience in a sporting club environment Strong leadership and team management skills Financial acumen and proven experience in cost management and P&L review A proactive, enthusiastic, and solutions-focused mindset IT literacy a bonus Benefits Be part of a progressive and respected golf club Lead exciting hospitality and event initiatives Enjoy a flexible, salaried role with growth potential Work in a supportive and collaborative team environment This is a rare opportunity for an experienced hospitality and event professional to shape unforgettable experiences at one of Adelaide’s leading gold clubs.
