About the RoleA Senior Full Stack Developer contract opportunity is available with an organisation undergoing significant modernisation of its systems. You’ll play a key role in replacing and rebuilding a suite of legacy applications that are becoming increasingly difficult to maintain, update, and secure. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on development using Node.js and TypeScript. You’ll work across responsive, user-centric applications that support critical business and workforce systems, with most projects involving smaller, function-specific web applications. An example includes developing a secure app to capture and integrate payment details. You’ll be the dedicated developer in a friendly team of eight (currently mostly application support staff), reporting to the Workforce System Manager and collaborating closely with the Senior Developer.
