Maintenance Fitter - Lara, VIC (Temp to Perm, Day Shift) A reputable manufacturing company based in Lara, Victoria is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic day shift role with strong potential to become a long-term permanent position. The Role You will perform general and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a range of plant machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns Assist with process improvements and equipment upgrades Work with conveyors, pumps, valves, and other machinery Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with site policies Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams About You Trade qualified with experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role Hands-on approach with strong troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and organisational skills Experience in manufacturing or FMCG industries preferred Forklift licence or welding skills are an advantage but not essential What's On Offer Day shift role with a well-established company Temp-to-perm position with the potential for a long-term permanent role Competitive hourly pay Opportunity to develop and grow your career Work based in Lara, VIC
