As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you’ll take on complex local and global challenges, using your skills and experience to advance Information and Communication Technology and drive meaningful change. Here’s how you’ll make it matter: Level B - Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Foster an outstanding student experience and encourage active participation and engagement in learning and teaching across the spectrum of the University’s undergraduate, and postgraduate program suite facilitating high quality, student-centred learning activities. Support high quality learning and teaching strategies that facilitate improved student retention, employability and successful outcomes for students. Contribute to the advancement of knowledge through a balanced research portfolio of high-quality outputs that demonstrate impact. Undertake research that has the potential to achieve impact on policy and practice in the wider community. Promote the performance and reputation of the Group through engaged scholarship and purposeful, impactful industry and community outreach activities. Level C - Key Responsibilities as above for Level B plus the following: Develop and implement evidence-based strategies that facilitate improved student retention, employability and successful outcomes for students. Provide educational leadership to a discipline including responsibility for academic courses and programs. Undertake high quality research that may have measurable impact on policy and practice in the wider community and attract and generate competitive research funding. Provide and promote academic leadership ensuring consistently high –quality experiences and outcomes are achieved for higher degree research (HDR) programs and candidates. Provide research leadership to the Department/School through collaboration with other staff and/or undertaking leadership of a research team. There are three positions available. All positions are continuing, full time and primarily based at either Griffith University Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations. Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full time equivalent base salary for Lecturer, Level B range will be $113,226 - $134,460 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum. The full time equivalent base salary for Senior Lecturer, Level C range will be $138,702 - $159,936 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $162,281 - $187,125 per annum.
