About the role PHYZFIT Health & Rehab' is seeking a passionate and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing team. We are looking for a full-time speech pathologist, but are open to discussing part-time . Both opportunities offer flexible hours. Our clinic is located in Bexley North, 2207 and you will have the opportunity for mobile/community-based work as well. What we offer Competitive salary package, depending on experience Diary block out time - We block out time in your diary to prepare for sessions and for you to complete treatment notes, to ensure ongoing quality of care and therapy without feeling overwhelmed. Supervision role - You have the opportunity to supervise our Allied Health Assistants, which will be non face-to-face treatment time. Mixed Caseload - You will be working in-clinic as well as in the community so that 2 days will never be the same. The clientele will be predominately paediatric, with opportunities to see adult clients as well. Professional development - We will pay for you to complete external professional development courses that you have interest in each year. Reimbursements - We will reimburse your travel when seeing clients in the community. Mentoring - We will provide ongoing support and teaching with our principal speech pathologist. Team - Working in a MDT team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists all within the one clinic. What you'll be doing Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify each child's unique needs and strengths Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans to address the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional needs of each child Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to therapy Engaging in MDT meetings to discuss the best treatment for a child Providing therapy services in our clinic, as well as in community settings such as schools and homes Documenting progress, writing reports, and maintaining detailed client records Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in paediatric speech pathology The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 1 years' experience working as a Paediatric Speech Pathologist with a strong understanding of child development and evidence-based therapy approaches Their own car and driver's licence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, client-centred care Willingness to work flexibly and travel to various locations within the local area Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families Our website: https://www.phyzfit.com.au/
