THE ROLE Partner with operational leads, the wider safety community at Winslow and our client to drive and deliver safety objectives and performance. Implementation of Winslow's safety policies and systems. Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and mitigating risk. Conducting safety audits. Performance monitoring and data analysis. Guidance on subcontractor management. Providing continual support and coaching. ABOUT YOU Certificate IV or higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety. Prior safety experience gained within a project environment, preferably civil construction Ability to effect change to achieve safety targets over a sustained period with a subcontractor and employee workforce. Possess knowledge and ability to evaluate and implement safety policies and procedures. Extensive knowledge of safety, quality and environmental management systems standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to influence at various business levels. Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation. Ability to think strategically, considering both client and local objectives/drivers. Ability to conduct audits; investigations of safety issues and assist in developing improvement plans based on findings. Demonstrated ability to develop safety improvement plans to drive and promote safety awareness programs. Understanding of a safety philosophy and previous experience with establishing and implementing these systems in a project environment. WHAT WE OFFER Career development and growth opportunities.
