We are in search for an experienced HR generalist to join our small HR team to deliver HR advice and guidance across the organisation. As the new HR Advisor at Meath Care, your responsibilities will include: Providing clear, accurate, and timely HR advice to managers and employees, ensuring a consistent application of workplace policies and procedures. Providing guidance on industrial relations matters, including award interpretation, and other employment legislation. Coordinating and leading operational HR processes relating to the employee life cycle, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews, annual performance appraisal, training and development, and termination, ensuring compliance and best practice. Supporting managers on employee relations, including grievances, conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary processes, and workers compensation claims. Reviewing, updating, and introducing HR related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and contemporary practice. Act as system administrator our HR system (ELMO), maintaining data and improving workflow efficiencies. Participating in HR projects that will align ourselves to our workforce strategy The successful applicant for this position will be a proactive and collaborative individual who takes everything in their stride to deliver on positive HR outcomes for employees, leaders and the whole Meath Community. In the last few years, we have made strong headway in our approach to people management and have delivered on significant reduction on employee turnover, increased employee engagement, and have become known for creating a positive work environment for employees. This role will play an integral part in continuing to contribute to the positive workplace culture and aligning to our people strategy for employee engagement, performance, conduct, and compliance. Our future HR Advisor will have: Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist, ideally within healthcare, aged care, or a similar multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, and best-practice HR principles. Sound stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. Be tech savvy and have ability to navigate and improve efficiencies on our HRIS (ELMO) and other HR related systems. Ability to balance priorities, providing support across the different services and sites. A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to drive positive workplace outcomes. Willingness to work between our Kingsley and Como sites (2/3 days at each site).
